drake mag
Drake Mag is a student-led publication that releases an issue each semester. In my junior year, I served as a Volunteer Designer, responsible for adhering to a style guide and designing for a few stories. In my senior year, I was hired as the Art Director, responsible for creating the style guide, hiring and managing volunteer designers, and ensuring the magazine maintained a cohesive look throughout.

Brand Identity design is a frequent project in coursework, but I have been lucky to concept a few brand identities for clients.
typography
I had the luck of learning Typography from a very knowledgeable professor, and this has installed a love for the innate detail type brings to a design.
drake student alumni association
The Student Alumni Association (SAA) at Drake works to connect current Bulldogs with alumni, celebrate Drake traditions, and give back to our community. I served as the Vice President of Graphic Design and worked with multiple Vice Presidents and other stakeholders to create promotional materials for various SAA events.
choice creative solutions design intern
Choice Creative Solutions is an advertising agency that serves multiple clients. I worked on a large variety of projects under tight deadlines and last-minute critiques.
ui design
Most of my UI coursework revolves around apps, but I have also worked on the design of HTML emails in real world contexts.
illustration and fine arts
My original career path was to be a studio artist. Worried about the stability of a career, I chose the BFA program at Drake to allow me to take the fine arts courses, but to learn graphic design as well. Luckily, I found a passion for design, but I never lost my passion for fine arts.
lcs graphic design intern
LCS serves hundreds of senior living communities across the country. I worked in their home office in Des Moines, Iowa, helping to create branded content for internal use.
anderson gallery design intern
The Anderson Gallery is on the Drake campus and has multiple exhibitions each year. I design all the promotional materials, including some catalogs and invitation cards.

This is coursework that doesn't fit neatly into the other categories but showcases the variety of work I do.
